On the morning of November 26, 2024, Beijing time, Jiayuan Company Chairman Dong Longshui led a group to arrive at the Borg Special Economic Zone in Cambodia and attended the signing ceremony held there. At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth communication and discussion on core issues such as factory construction and operation. Chairman Dong Longshui emphasized that this visit to Cambodia is not only aimed at promoting the progress of the project, but more importantly, it is to lead the middle and senior management team to experience the local environment in person and lay a psychological foundation for the smooth development of overseas business in the future. After many field visits and comprehensive evaluations, Jiayuan Company finally selected the Borg Special Economic Zone as the construction site for the new factory. Dong Longshui also said that the development concept of "working in the special zone and living in the scenic area" proposed by the Borg Special Economic Zone has further strengthened the company's confidence in building a beautiful new factory, aiming to ensure that employees can feel at ease, assured and comfortable in their future overseas work.
After friendly negotiations, the two parties reached consensus on issues such as factory construction and factory operations, and successfully completed the signing ceremony.
Later, accompanied by the investment promotion party, Dong Longshui and his party visited the existing enterprises in the Borg Special Economic Zone and inspected the site of Jiayuan Company's Cambodian factory. On this undeveloped land, Jiayuan people felt Cambodia's unique tropical monsoon and were full of expectations and longings for the future new factory.
Although this six-day trip to Cambodia was a little hasty, it has undoubtedly become a new starting point in Jiayuan's long-term strategic planning.
